Mr Acharya is a very skilled and experienced orthopaedic surgeon, he has replaced both my left and right knees 11 and 10 years ago and been in charge of my care since then, he is also monitoring the osteoarthritis condition I have in both hips, arranging for them to be injected for pain relief when required. He has a very gentle and polite manner and his team have very a caring attitude towards their patients, Anyone about to undergo a joint replacement operation couldn't be in better hands than Mr Acharya.

Being an extremely nervous patient I had put up with pain for a number of months. After my consultation with Mr Acharya i decided, with some trepidation, to go ahead with the surgery he proposed. I had my high tibial osteotomy in September 2017, the operation went well and I returned home to recuperate with a large bag of medication. Expecting to have to take regular pain relief I was surprised that after a couple of days taking painkillers I no longer needed them and I was already in less pain than I was before the operation. I was back to work sooner than expected and in September 2018 I returned for my 1st year review. Mr Acharya was very pleased with the results and my progress and has now discharged me. I have been told the patient has something to do with the recovery but it all starts with the skill of the surgeon and I had a great one. I cannot recommend Mr Acharya and all the staff at the Cheshire and Merseyside Treatment Centre highly enough. After previous unpleasant experiences with hospitals making me extremely nervous patient Mr Acharya has restored my faith, I cannot thank him enough. Fantastic treatment from a great doctor.

Mr Acharya replaced my hip on 3rd July 2017 I was admitted to the hospital at 12 noon and was operated on and back in the ward by 4pm. Mr Acharya is an excellent surgeon, quiet, unhurried and interested in doing the very best for his patients. I had my follow up appointment 19th July 2018 and was discharged. My operation has made a huge improvement to my life. I appreciate the professional care I received from Mr Acharya and the team at the Spire Hospital Anita Turner

I had just started my teenage when I had an ACL injury. Being a very active and sporty child, I was devastated to find out that I have fully ruptured my ACL which resulted in me being out of sport. I found it very hard to believe that I couldn’t play sport for 12 months after my operation but Mr Acharya, being a fantastic doctor reassured me and supported me all the way throughout the 12 month span. My operation has proven to be successful without any complications thanks to a very supportive, knowledgeable and helpful Mr Acharya. I recommend anyone who has had an ACL problem to seek help from the magician Mr Acharya.

I have seen many Orthopaedic Consultants in my life time. I first meet Mr. Acharya in 2012 in a lot of pain. When I meet him I know I could trust him completely. In 2013 He and his team gave me a Hip Replacement as I had Polio since I was about 3 years old I have a good leg and a bad leg. The Replacement was on my good leg. The Hip Replacement has been a great success. The after care has been excellent. Knowing I would have difficulty in walking afterwards I was given so much help. I am walking great and pain free. Mr. Acharya gave me my life back and I can never thank him enough. As far and improvements in my case I would just wish that everyone got the same care as I did.
